Park Games

"Duck..duck...duck..."
"Goose!"  The anticipation is strong as each child waits to be goosed.  Some of us learned how to play Duck Duck Goose for the first time yesterday at the park.
By the time everyone had been "goosed", the idea of how to play was clear.  "Hey, look at that tree over there!  It's a perfect spot to play....."
♫♪"Ring around the rosie, pocket full of posies, ashes, ashes, we all fall down!"♫♪  If they only knew the morbid meaning behind the song.  (The plague..)
We took the time to really look at the beautiful tree.  We noticed that the big green leaves mean summer.  I think we will come back to this tree each season to see the changes.  Sometimes a visual is the best way to learn!
We scurried off to this shady picnic table for lunch.  What a beautiful day!  We made sure to thank God for it. ♥♥♥
