Who doesn't love Sesame Street? Everything had eyes, the alphabet letters, shoes, you name it. We are learning about diamonds this week, so in true Sesame Street fashion, I added some eyes. "Diamond" quickly became the hit of the party.
Meet "Scissors". I liked him because he could actually open his mouth.
"Spoon" already looks like he is smiling! Google eyes are the BEST!
We threw out our tracing worksheets yesterday and made our own creations using diamond shapes. This was much more engaging than a trace the shape piece of white paper. The kids' new "Diamond" friend made his rounds all day yesterday, and even this morning. He has been talked to, put down for a nap, and even joined in the tag game this morning. All because we decided to add some eyes. ♥
