Five Turkeys And A Bird

We are counting to five this week!  I printed out some turkeys for the kids to count and glue.

The worksheets were disassembled so the kids could have a little bit more involvement with the number 5.  It's easier to remember if they have a number 5 to touch, glue and color.  The ones who were able then worked on writing the number 5 on the line.

They colored the number 5. 

They counted 5 turkeys with me and glued them onto their papers.

This was so much more fun than just a white worksheet.  It was more age appropriate, too.

I'm a little behind this morning because Smudge blessed me with a bird.  The garage and laundry room were filled with feathers that never seem to land and the broom just blows them around.  We vacuumed.  Smudge was really proud of himself and was rewarded with a seemingly endless supply of tuna flavored cat treats.  What a good boy!
