A Feel Better Day

A couple of weeks ago, I took photos of a day where the kids were just not feeling well.  When that happens, we just settle things down at Henle House.  This is not college, it's a home where kids spend LOTS of time.  If they aren't feeling their best, it's ok to just can the whole preschool thing.  There is nothing worse than having to complete tasks when you just don't feel well.  The playroom was quiet.

The fire was lit.  It really creates a cozy environment.  It's like getting a hug from the heat. 

I didn't know what to do with my time.  I just catered to the kids.  Noses were wiped.  Blankies were delivered. Snacks were carried.  The channel was changed. 

The art was left undone.  That was perfectly ok.

Everyone seems to have kicked that nasty cold for the most part!  Yesterday we introduced the letter Ee.  We read this funny book, and the kids pointed out the letter E on the cover. 

They worked on writing the letter Ee.  It was a pretty normal preschool day!
