Butterflies

"What are we making?"  One kid had his one finger out and ready to use it.  They were happy to learn that I was going to paint their hands.

Slop the paint on.. and then handprint the paper! They kept their fingers together and left the thumb sticking as far out as possible.  Do the same with the second hand. These kids love to have their hands painted!

The handprints will resemble a butterfly.  The next step was to glue on the body.

Add antennae and a face. :)

We used marker for the antennae and chalk for the face. 

So quick and easy!
