Frozen

It's finally cold enough to see the frozen spiderwebs!  Most of the photos didn't turn out.  Frozen spiderwebs are fun to play with.  You can grab a strand and watch it dangle beneath your hand.  It's a great time to clean them all up now that they are visable, but I think I left most of them so we could see them frozen.
Petra stayed on the couch yesterday morning.  She loves to be outside but the fire was so cozy. ♥
Yesterday we went to the dentist.  This photo does not really depict how the outing went, but it was nice to see some of them sitting down nicely while Aiden waited for his turn..  It went very well!
This is a regular thing that happens every morning on the way to the bus stop.  There is one stubborn puddle along the way, right where our imaginary path is.  The kids look forward to this spot because they get to walk around it, which means they leave the path and go onto the street. (Rebels!)  When it gets frozen, they like to stop and throw rocks into the ice.
We can see the rocks that have been thrown from the days leading up to this one.  The kids enjoyed seeing the different patterns in the ice yesterday.
It's that time of year that I usually sew some quick catnip toys for the kitties for Christmas.  We like to wrap them and place them under the tree and see how long it takes them to unwrap them.  This year they didn't make it to the tree.  Three cats busted into our room and slobbered the toys to death.  I laid them out to dry overnight in a place I thought was safe, nope.  They are like a gang of thieves.  No catnip toy is untouched in this house.  While I had the sewing machine out I whipped up a quick little play purse for this sweet girl who wanted to "Sit by you?"  It matches her outfit!  She enjoyed just putting things into it and pulling them out.
♥♥♥Happy Thursday!♥♥♥
