Our use of oil pastels continued yesterday.
It's that time again! We have to create a tree for the upcoming season! I love the way oil pastels look. They are so bold and easy for the kids to use.
I always to try to get them to use "just one finger" when we fingerpaint. It rarely happens that way. :) There is something fun about getting paint all over our hands.
Paint the tree for the third or fourth year in a row. :) They just look so beautiful and I can't help but repeat this project. When we learn about the changing seasons, we take a look at the trees around us to try to determine what season it will be.
This is a great project to mix the colors together.
They painted until they felt the trees were complete.
Beautiful!
We are learning what an orchard is.
She is still loving the cash register. I think she is as intrigued by the shopping cart, too. :)
I remember when this one was a newborn, it's so unbelievable to see how big everyone is getting.
♥♥♥Happy Friday!♥♥♥
