Sunflowers

I found some extra Mammoth Sunflower seeds and thought we should plant some to take home.

We could not believe that those TINY seeds will grow into...

...sunflowers THIS tall!

Each child planted a seed inside some small paper cups we found.

We then waited for it to grow.  Maybe if we watch it for a while something will happen?

We popped the cups into an old baking pan that we use for our gardening projects.

They will catch some sunshine hopefully if they rest here with the pumpkin plants. 

Our niece Jessica graduated from High School on Friday!  We were able to throw her a nice graduation party over the weekend.  Congratulations Jess!♥
