Twinkle Twinkle Traffic Light

We were supposed to be working on using scissors yesterday, but the few who can actually do it already know how, and the rest are not ready!  Insert traffic light art.

Here is the song we learned in group time.  It's fun for kids to notice things around them, and hopefully next time they are riding around in their vehicle they might notice a traffic light and remember. 

We began with a paper plate cut in half and a black strip of paper per child.

Glue them together as shown above.

Add the lights and paint the paper plates black. 

We shared paint, it really doesn't take much paint.  

We glued the song words onto the front so the kids can take these home and mom and dad can help them remember the words.  I like this project! Cute!

I'm grateful that I was able to get something done yesterday, thank you for your prayers!  

Hopefully I am on the mend.
