Friday was a crazy day! We had two parent tours, and the schedule went kaput. I thought this morning I would share with you Adam's sushi making adventure. We have been looking for healthy alternatives for lunch, and this one was a hit. I don't usually like sushi, but what he made was delicious.
He cooked the rice, flattened it out to cool. Add 1/4 cup rice vinegar and 2tsp sugar after it has been heated through and melted. This gives the rice a nice flavor.
Lay a sheet of seaweed, a layer of rice, some imitation crab meat and avocado. Roll!
That was the fun part.
Roll..roll..roll...
Lunch! Actually, it was quite filling. We finished half of this plate.
