Bunny Hats

It's fun to create hats to wear!  The kids take on the character and enjoy playing while wearing them.  Easter is at the end of this month and we have been talking a lot about Spring.  A LOT of children's books about Spring have bunnies in them. 

The kids glued the ears together.  This project ended up being MY art work- but the kids were all very excited to wear their hats!

They glued on the pink nose and drew a bunny mouth. 

To speed things up, I glued on googly eyes and a cotton ball tail with the hot glue gun.  This was necessary in order to eliminate dry time.  Instant fun!

They wore the hats outside to play.  The cotton ball tail was a hit- they each laughed about the tails.

"Hop! Hop!  Hop!"
