Glue A Green G

Aren't we lucky in Washington?  Even though it's freezing and we had a bit of snow/frost/hail/slush, the grass is green.  That Spanish Moss filled in between the stones nicely, too.  Brr!  I hope it snows, I hope it snows.
I threw the worksheet out and we worked on gluing green paper to the G.  G is for glue and green!
I was not feeling very well yesterday and cut corners by just slathering some Elmer's glue onto the G's for the kids so I wouldn't have to help every five seconds with the glue sticks.  I could've just given them each a bottle of glue.   I just didn't want to clean it up afterward.  (It was a wise decision.  Cleanup was a snap.)
With every piece they glued into place, "Look Nicole!  Do you like it?  Is mine lovely?"  I say those things a lot.  Positive encouragement makes them feel proud of their work.  They should be proud, they work very hard!
I'm sorry about the fuzzy photos.  Anyway, the G's were turning green!
See?
It's Christmasy here inside Henle House. I've already been baking cookies and stuffing them into the freezer.  Stephanie wants to give out a couple of cookie gifts.  We chose several new recipes to try. FUN!
Something of note:  Smudge left his tongue out.  For half an hour.  I think he was just blissfully happy to see us return from our trip so he could go back into our room for his usual all day nap.  I had to snap a photo.  I told him, "Your tongue is out.  It's just out. Forever."  He ignored.  He loved sleeping on that comfy blanket.
♥♥♥Happy Tuesday!♥♥♥
