Aaaah, the sigh of relief that arrives when Halloween is over. The kids were happy to see that the pilgrims had returned this morning. It's time for peace, family, food and thanksgiving. I am so ready!
Halloween is now gone, and all that remains are pumpkins and gourds to set the scene for November. Perfect!
Yesterday was an amazing day! We had a great group of kiddos who were very excited to join in the festivities. Here they are, ready for spooky flashlight group time. :) A tiger, a unicorn, two spidermen, Buzz Lightyear, two cowboys, a jack-o-lantern, a butterfly and Batman! My goodness, were we BUSY!
We played pin the nose on the jack-o-lantern.
I found this game idea on pinterest. Tape a spiderweb to the floor and have the kids balance on the web to gather spiders in 30 seconds.
They really liked this!
Even the little ones really enjoyed it! There is something about gathering items into a bucket or basket that keeps their attention.
Two cowboys. Giddyup!
This little guy was wearing a costume that HIS dad wore when he was a child. How cool is that?
Chippy came for his loot, too. I enjoyed the day. I am also grateful that it is over and we can now calm down a little. Happy Thursday!♥♥♥ Happy November!♥♥♥
